WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially
dangerous to personnel and property. Avoid repeated and
prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 degrees F-138
degrees F (38 degrees C-59 degrees C).
(1)
Clean all metal parts with dry cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly.
(2)
Inspect all parts for wear or damage. If stem (13), washer (15), or holder (17) are damaged,
replace complete disc assembly (12).
(3)
Inspect gasket (6) in dust cap (5). If it is damaged or broken, replace gasket.
(4)
Check resilience of spring (10).
(5)
Replace all worn or damaged parts. Use a new seal (9) at assembly.
