No special tools or equipment are required by direct support
maintenance personnel for the maintenance of the pump and tank unit.

pair and special tools list covering direct support maintenance in TM
1O-493O-2O4-23P.

FABRICATED TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
No fabrication of special tools or equipment is necessary for
maintenance of the pump and tank unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

GENERAL.

This section contains troubleshooting information for locat-
ing and correcting most of the operating troubles which may develop in
the tank and pump unit.
Each malfunction for an individual component,
unit , or system is followed by a list of tests or inspections which
will help to determine corrective actions to take,
b.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor
all tests or inspections and corrective actions.
If a malfunction is
not listed or is not. corrected by listed corrective actions, notify
your supervisor.
The table lists the common malfunctions which you may find
during the operation or maintenance of the tank and pump unit or its
components.
Perform the tests/inspections and corrective actions in
the order listed.
