Clean Pump Exterior
1. Remove tank lid (9-1-0150-1 and 9-1-0150-2) or access panel (9-1-0527) retainers.
WARNING
Ensure that the SEP has been thoroughly cleaned with chlorine
solution and rinsed prior to any inspection or service to the interior.
Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
2. Remove tank lid (9-1-0150-1 and 9-1-0150-2) or access panel (9-1-0527).
WARNING
To prevent burns, ensure that the heater element has thoroughly
cooled before servicing the pump assembly. Do not use gloves to
handle a heater that has not cooled. Failure to comply with this
warning may cause serious injury to personnel.
3. Wipe pump body (1) free of any deposits.
