The depreservation guide explains what was done to theequipment prior to packaging. It also explains what has to be done beforeplacing the equipment in operation. Perform all depreservation actionsrequired by the depreservation guide.2.4.5 Assembly of 600 GPM Pumping Assembly.Instructions for assembling the 600 GPM waterpumping assemblies are provided below.2.4.5.1 Tools, Test Equipment, and Materials Required for Installation.A general mechanic’stool kit is required for installation of the equipment.2.4.5.2 Assembly of Model 609-A.2.4.5.2.1 Air Cleaner Installation.The air cleaner assembly will have been removedbefore the protective plywood cap was installed. It will have been taped orstrapped to the trailer chassis, alongside the battery cables. Retrieve the aircleaner assembly. Install the air cleaner assembly in accordance with paragraph2 .14 .1.2.4.5.2.2 Muffler Installation.The muffler will have been removed before thep r o t e c t i v e p l y w o o d c a p w a s i n s t a l l e d . I t w i l l h a v e t a p e d o r s t r a p p e d t o t heside of the engine. Retrieve the muffler. Install the muffler in accordance withparagraph 2.13.1.2.4.5.3 Assembly of Model 609-C. Model 609-C does not require assembly to prepare itfor use.2.4.5.4 Assembly of Model US636HCCD-1.2.4.5.4.1 Air Cleaner Installation.The air cleaner assembly will have been removed andpartially disassembled before the protective plywood cap was installed. It willhave been taped or strapped to top of the battery box. Retrieve the air cleanerassembly. Also, the air intake pipe should have been retrieved when the muffler wasretrieved. Install the air cleaner assembly in accordance with paragraph 2.14.3.2.4.5.4.2 Muffler Installation.The muffler will have been removed and partiallydisassembled before the protective plywood cap was installed.
