REMOVAL: Refer to Figure 4-1.2.
a. Remove oil dipstick (1) from filler tube (2).
b. Unscrew and remove filler tube (2) from crankcase.
INSPECTION:
Inspect parts for cracks, dents, damaged threads, and other damage. Replace parts as necessary.
INSTALLATION:
a. Screw filler tube (2) into crankcase.
b. Install oil dipstick (1) in filler tube (2).
