Use in a well-ventilated area away from openflame, arcing equipment, Ignition sources, heaters, orexcessive heat. Engine must be turned off and cool beforerefueling. Use proper refueling procedures and equipmentto avoid spillage. Do not run engine near open fuelcontainers. Always store fuel in properly markedcontainers. DO NOT SMOKE.CAUTIONAs each fuel hose, connection, or connection port Isremoved, be sure to tape over or plug each openconnection to prevent contaminants from entering the fuelsystem1Remove screw (1), spacers (2), and clamp (3).2Remove fuel filter (4) from fuel hose (5) (fuel lift pump to fuel filter).3Remove fuel filter (4) from fuel hose (6) (fuel filter to injection pump).4Discard fuel filter (4) and tape or plug fuel hoses (5 and 6).5Remove fuel hose (5) from fuel lift pump discharge fitting.4-21
