Only thoseunit is ready forfaults thatcannot becorrectedbytheoperationat all times,it must be inspectedsystematically so that defects may be discoveredand corrected before they result in serious damageor failure. The preventive maintenance checks andservices to be performed by the operator are listedand described in paragraph 3-4. The sequencenumbers indicate the sequence of minimum in-spection requirements. Defects discovered duringoperations of the unit will be noted for futurecorrection, to be made as soon as operation hasceased. Stop operation immediately if a deficiencyis noted during operation which would damage theoperator / crew, or that are corrected by replacingparts will be recorded on DA Form 2404(Equipment Inspection and MaintenanceWorksheet).3-4.
