Measure bore with precision micrometer at
points 1 and 2 and along axis A and B. Measure-
ments should be 2.5984 to 2.5992 inches
(66.00 to 66.019 mm). If all measurements are
far from within these tolerance limits, replace
bearing bracket. If measurements are only
slightly outside the tolerance limits, install new
main bearing supports and measure main bearing
support bore; otherwise replace main bearing
bracket.
