Governor assembly
a.
Install on drive shaft.
b.
Measure distance from head of installed governor assembly to crankcase. The
distance should be 3.3346 to 3.3740 inches (84.7 to 85.7 mm). If measurement is
not as specified, remove governor assembly and add or remove washers as
necessary. Reinstall governor assembly and recheck distance from head of governor
assembly to crankcase.
