Aline volute and seal plate matchmarks. Aline studs with mounting holes on seal plate. b. Install lockwashers and nuts. Tighten nuts securely in a cross pattern. 32. Suction flange Install on volute studs. gasket 33. Suction flange Attach suction flange to volute with lockwashers and hex nuts. Tighten nuts securely in a cross pattern. 34. Partial Rotate shaft by hand. Be sure that assembly does assembly not bind. INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 35. Drive ring a. Install drive ring on carrier mounted to flywheel. b. Install cap screws and tighten in a cross pattern. c. Insert key in shaft. 5-13
