Suction Hose Installation. Remove protective plug and connect the suction hose to the suction port.

Highest point in the suction hose should be at the pump.
(2)
Make sure that connections and pipe joints in the suction hose are tight.

Discharge Hose Installation. Remove protective plug and connect the discharge hose to the discharge port. Be
certain discharge hose is tight.

Preparation for Starting.
CAUTION
Always prime the pump before starting the engine. Operating the pump dry may damage the seal.

Remove either pipe plug and fill pump with water.
