WARNING
Make sure that hoists and other lifting equipment are in good repair and
of sufficient capacity to safely handle loads without injury to personnel
or damage to equipment. Securely attach lifting tool to flywheel. Before
lifting, be sure load is balanced.

Flywheel
Attach a lifting bar to
flywheel with two
3/8-16 bolts of suitable
length. Attach a lifting
device to the lifting
bar. Remove remaining
flywheel mounting
bolt. Remove flywheel.
4.
Flywheel
Remove housing mounting bolts and lockwashers.

Use suitable lifting device to remove flywheel
housing. Remove and discard the gasket and oil
seal.
