Observe the following precautions:·Do not inhale vapor.·Work in a well-ventilated area.·Do not use near open flame, sparks, or excessive heat.Compressed air used for cleaning shall not exceed 100 psi (690 kPa). Usegoggles or face shield for eye protection. Do not direct airstream againstskin.5.Mounting bandsUsing fuel oil and a soft-bristle brush, cleanand fastenersports by scrubbing with fuel oil and dryingwith compressed air.INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT6.Mounting bandsInstall over muffler. Place screw through clampportion of band, and thread nut onto screw.Aline bands with marks made on muffler duringband removal. Tighten clamps securely ontomuffler.7.Heat shield Slide on over inlet end of muffler. Aline threadedholes in mounting band.4-86
