TROUBLESHOOTING
a.
Table 4-2 contains troubleshooting information for locating and correcting most of the operating troubles which
are the responsibility of organizational maintenance.
Each malfunction for an individual component, unit, or system is
followed by a list of tests or inspections which will help you to deter- mine probable causes and corrective actions to take.
Perform the tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.
NOTE
All TEST OR INSPECTION or CORRECTIVE ACTION steps assume
that engine side panels have been removed if necessary for access.

This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective actions.
If a malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.

Only those functions within the scope of organizational maintenance are listed. for troubleshooting procedures
within the scope of operator/crew maintenance, refer to table 3-1.

Refer to the Symptom Index below. Locate the malfunction which is the same, or most nearly the same, as the trouble
you are having with the pump. The Symptom Index lists the first page of trouble- shooting information for that
