All enginemaintenance procedures and instructions are described and illustratedin TM 5-2805-256-14.a.Removal.(1) Remove fuel lines and filter as per paragraph 4-2.2.(2) Remove centrifugal pump as per paragraph 4-4.b.Cleaning andInspection.-Drycleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to cleanparts is potentially dangerous to personneland property.Avoid inhalation of fumesand repeated or prolonged skin exposure.Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap andwater.Use in well ventilated area awayfrom open flame or excessive heat.Flashpoint is 100°F (38°C).(1) Clean exterior of engine with approved cleaning solventand dry thoroughly.(2) Inspect engine for any external damage, tag engine,noting any defects or damage, and return it to depot maintenance.c.Installation.Repeat the removal procedure (para 4-2.4) in reversesequence.4-2.5.Frame.Two channels mounted on the frame with shock mounts support theengine and pump and absorb the shock and vibration of the pump whilein operation,The tubular frame supports and protects the pump andengine.a.Removal.(1) Remove(2) Removefuel lines and filter as per paragraph 4-2.2.centrifugal pump as per paragraph 4-4.4-5
