Verify if LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE warning light remains illuminated (Figure 2).

a.
If battery VOLTS gauge reads 22 to 28 volts, and LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE warning
light is not illuminated, problem solved.
b.
If battery VOLTS gauge reads low and/or LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE warning light
remains illuminated, proceed to next Malfunction - Battery cable terminals loose,
disconnected, damaged, or corroded.
