SYMPTOM
Engine high temperature LED status indicator illuminated.
MALFUNCTION
Engine coolant level low.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check engine coolant level (WP 0203).
a.
If low, fill to proper level with correct engine coolant (WP 0222). Start engine (Volume 1,
WP 0040) and verify if high temperature LED status indicator goes out and engine
operating temperature returns to normal.
b.
If engine coolant level is within specification, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Cooling
system component failure.
