SYMPTOM
Engine does not turn when ignition switch is placed to Start position.
MALFUNCTION
EMERGENCY STOP switch pressed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
EMERGENCY STOP switch is mounted directly in front of control panel and can
unknowingly be pressed when attempting to start engine.
Verify EMERGENCY STOP switch is in up position (not depressed) (Figure 1).

If depressed, place EMERGENCY STOP switch in Up position. Verify if engine cranks
(Volume 1, WP 0040).
b.
If in Up position, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Auxiliary alarm present.
