PORTABLE WATER TRANSFER PUMP STARTING PROCEDURES - Continued
WARNING
Never pump volatile, explosive, flammable, or low flash point fluids. Fluids could ignite or
explode. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical
attention in the event of an injury.
CAUTION
Always run engine at full speed while pumping water. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
16.
Set engine speed adjustment lever (Figure 6, Item 4) to half throttle position or full throttle position.
17.
Pull starter grip (Figure 6, Item 3) slowly until resistance is felt, and allow starter grip to recoil.
18.
Pull starter grip (Figure 6, Item 3) hard and fast to full travel until engine starts.
19.
Move engine speed adjustment lever (Figure 6, Item 4) to full throttle position, if required.
