HOSE REMOVAL FROM STANDPIPE - Continued
WARNING
Safety cables and wedges can pinch fingers. Wear gloves when connecting hoses with
safety cables. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical
attention in the event of an injury.
NOTE
Safety cable and hose are disconnected from mud standpipe or air standpipe in the same
way. Mud standpipe is shown.

Remove 3-in. (76 mm) hose (Figure 1, Item 1) from mud standpipe (Figure 1, Item 4) or air standpipe
(Figure 1, Item 5).

Pull safety cable wedge (Figure 1, Item 2) down to open loop in safety cable (Figure 1, Item 3).

Remove safety cable (Figure 1, Item 3) from mud standpipe (Figure 1, Item 4) or air standpipe
(Figure 1, Item 5).
