CATWALK AND LADDERS SETUP AND INSTALLATION - Continued
WARNING
Catwalks must be fully opened and lockpins installed when in use. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the
event of an injury.
Make sure hands are away from rotating parts of catwalk during opening and
closing procedures. Pinch and crush hazards exist. Failure to comply may result in
injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

With aid of an assistant, pull catwalk (Figure 24, Item 2) out to extend catwalk to open position.

Remove safety pin (Figure 24, Item 5) from pin (Figure 24, Item 4).
9.
Remove pin (Figure 24, Item 4) from bracket (Figure 24, Item 6).
