2. Remove hex bolts and washers (figure 2, item 1) from the pulley guard brackets. Two are located at
each end of the guard, and one at the rear center (figure 2, item 2).
WARNING
The pulley guard is heavy. To avoid injury, two soldiers are required to
remove and install the guard from and onto the trailer.
3. Remove pulley guard (figure 2, item 3).

4. Position new pulley guard (figure 3, item 1) over pulleys and belt for installation.
5. Install hex bolts and washers (figure 3, item 5) into the pulley guard brackets. Two are located at each
end and one at the rear center (figure 3, item 6).
