TM 10-4320-344-24b.Adjust intake (I) and exhaust (E) valves,indicated by shading, at cylinders2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (Figure 2-165, 1) as follows:(1) Loosen locknut of slotted adjusting screw (2).(2) Insert 0.006 inch (0.15 nun) feeler gauge (3) between rocker arm (4) andvalve stem (5).(3) Adjust slotted adjusting screw (2) until rocker arm (4) just touches feelergauge (3).(4) While holding slotted adjusting screw (2), tighten locknut of slottedadjusting screw (2).(5) Remove feeler gauge (3). When properly adjusted, there will be a slightpull on feeler gauge (3) when it is removed.(6) Recheck clearance and repeat steps (1) through (5) as necessary.c .Rotate crankshaft one complete revolution (3600).d.Adjust remaining intake (I) and exhaust valves (E) valves, as indicated byshading, at cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (6) as in step b.2-371
