To stop engine, turn ELECTRIC SPEED CONTROL (6) counterclockwise to idle

Let engine idle for 2 or 3 minutes.
Push ENGINE SWITCH (5) to
OFF position.
Engine will shut down.

Turn FUEL RACK handle (7) counterclockwise and release.

Start and operate Model 609-A as follows:

Perform steps a through j of paragraph 2.5.1.2.
Turn PRESSURE REGULATOR SWITCH (Figure 2-21,
4) clockwise to AUTO position.
Engine speed is now automatically controlled by the pressure regulator.
The pressure regulator provides 150 psi discharge pressure at suction
pressures of 20 to 120 psi.
