Preparing Pump Unit for Operation. Connect pump suction and discharge lines in accordance with
system manual.

Open side door of noise enclosure.
Put speed control lever in START position (1, Figure 2-3).
Pull extra fuel button.
Put decompression lever in position 2.
in cold climates, use oil priming device for starting per paragraph 2-12.
Remove starting handle from stowed position (2).
