REMOVE. (Figure 4-10)
(1)
Remove mounting bolts (1) and lockwashers (2) holding the oil pump suction tube (3) to main bearing
cap.
(2)
Loosen the suction tube hex nut (4). Remove oil pump suction tube (3) with duplex ring (5).
(3)
Remove nuts (6), star washers (7), bolts (8) and retaining bracket (9) from oil pump suction tube (3).
