Allow unitto cool before handling.1Remove two screws (1) and two washers (2).2Remove heat shield (3).3Remove two screws (4) and two washers (5).4Remove cleanout plug (6).5Remove protective screen (7).6Remove two nuts (8).7Remove muffler (9) and gasket (10). Discard gasket (10).INSPECTION:1Inspect screws, nuts, washers, heat shield, protective screen, and muffler for rust corrosion, or other damage.Replace if necessary.2Tap on muffler to drain spark trap of accumulated particles.
