REMOVAL:
WARNING
Handling heated parts can cause severe burns. Use proper
equip-ment to handle heated parts.

Heat crankcase to 175OF to 210F (800C to 1000C). Push out crankshaft (1) and roller bearing outer race (3).
Remove key (2).
NOTE
Balls (9), ball shell (10), and sliding disc (11) are governor
components. Refer to paragraph 6-5 for instructions on
removal of these parts.

Remove and discard cover (12).
