Duringsteam cleaning operations, adequate ventilation, natural or forced, shouldbe provided. Do not direct live steam against skin.Dry cleaning solvent is potentially dangerous. Avoid repeated andprolonged breathing of vapors and skin contact with the liquid. Do notuse near open flame, arcing equipment, or other ignition source. Alwayswear eye protection and protective clothing.CAUTIONNever dry bearings with compressed air. Do not spin bearings while theyare not lubricated. Oil bearings with engine oil immediately after cleaning.Be sure bearings are oiled before inspection.NOTEDo not remove grease in which new bearings are packed.1.Clean speed increaser and components as follows:a.Using dry cleaning solvent or steam clean all parts.b.Parts cleaned with dry cleaning solvent or steam must be dried and oiled immediately.4-24
