Section V. MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
This section provides maintenance instructions for the electric motor, gas engine, pumping
assembly, and hoses that are applicable to organizational maintenance. Components of the pumping
assembly and hoses consist of all hoses, the engine, electric motor, pump, filter/separator, man
s t a t i c d i s c h a r g e r e e l , f u e l d i s p e n s i n g n o z z l e a s s e m b l y , f u e l d i s p e n s i n g r e e l a s s e m b l y , a n d
a s s e m b l y .

male or female. Refer to figure 1-2 for location. The tanks-to-manifold hoses, one 90 inches (22
and one 26-1/2 inches (67.31 cm), connect each tank to the pumping assembly manifold. The
t o - p u m p h o s e c o n n e c t s t h e m a n i f o l d t o t h e p u m p i n l e t c o n n e c t i o n . T h e p u m p - t o - f i l t e r / s e p a r a
connects the pump outlet to the inlet of the filter/separator. The filter/separator-to-quick-disco
c o n n e c t s t h e f i l t e r / s e p a r a t o r o u t l e t t o t h e q u i c k - d i s c o n n e c t t e e . T w o h o s e s c o n n e c t t h e
disconnect tee to the left and right dispensing reels. A dispensing hose is connected to and wo
each dispensing reel and has a nozzle connected to the dispensing end.

Removal.
(1) Remove all hoses except dispensing reel hose as follows:
(a) Close dispensing valves on tanks by setting cam levers to CLOSE position.
