d. Pump. The pump is a self-priming unit, with the impeller screwed directly on the extension of the
engine crankshaft/motor armature shaft. The pump and motor (figure 1-4) pump and engine
are mounted on a base plate to facilitate removal for use in auxilary pumping operations.
