Engine Shutdown Valve (Electrical).
Check for loose or missing electrical connector (1).
Check for frayed insulation or other damage to wires
(2) running to electrical connector.

Ether Start Kit
During cold
weather operation,
Check that ether cylinder (1) is firmly in place.
The valve does not
The cylinder should be finger tight in valve (2).
Release ether.
Inspect cylinder (1) and valve (2) for dents, corrosion,
or other damage.
Inspect the valve assembly
(2) for corrosion or other
damage. Verify valve
operation by pulling knob
(3) for 3 seconds or less.
If the valve operates freely
but no ether is released,
replace the cylinder
(1) and test the valve again.
Inspect hose (4) for leaks or
cracks. The hose should be
secured to fitting (5) at both
ends.
