Battery Box.
There are signs of
battery acid
Visually inspect for:
leaks.
Loose, damaged, or corroded screws (1),
washers (2), or lockwashers (3).
Damaged or corroded hinge (4), catches (5),
or strikes (6).
Obstructed vent (7).
Physical damage to either battery box top (8) or
battery box (9) that would indicate possible
damage to enclosed batteries (10).
Corrosion or acid leakage at drain holes (11) in
bottom of battery box.
