Water temperature should be between 160° to 185°F (710 to 850C).c.If both oil pressure and water temperature are correct after engine warmup, but engine stops running after a fewminutes, notify organizational maintenance.6. EXCESSIVE LUBRICATING OIL CONSUMPTIONStep 1. Check for leaking oil pan gasket, drain plug, or oil filter gasket.If filter or drain plug is leaking, try to tighten.
