If oil pressure shows on gage but water temperature is out of normal range after a few minutes, stop
engine.
WARNING
Hot coolant may be released when radiator
cap is removed. Allow engine to cool before
removing cap. Open cap part way to ensure
that pressure in coolant system is released,
then remove cap.
Remove radiator cap and check coolant level which should be about 3 inches (7.62 cm) below neck. If coolant
level is below operating level, refill radiator with correct grade coolant. Restart engine.
