TM 5-4320-300-14 6-6. OIL PUMP (CONT) Location/item Action Remarks 30. Crankshaft Install pulley, washer, pulley and retaining bolt. Torque to 200 to 220 ft lb (271 to 298 N.m). 31. Oil pump Place flange end of inlet pipe inlet pipe into engine and screen lower front cover. assembly Loosely install bracket mounting bolts, with lockwashers, through bracket and into main bearing cap. Loosely install flange mounting bolts, with lockwashers, through flange and into engine front cover. Torque all mounting bolts to 13 to 17 ft lb (18 to 23 N.m). 32. Oil pan Coat gasket lightly with MIL-L-2104 oil. Install gasket and oil pan. Install mount- ing bolts hand tight. Torque bolts to 20 ft lb (27 N.m) in sequence shown. 6-24
