Adjust engine idle speed to 550 rpm with throttle control. Adjust throttle control to raise engine rpm to operating speed (2200 rpm). Note any binding governor linkage or hangup DURING operation. If governor linkage binds and prevents a smooth increase from 550 to 2200 rpm, notify direct support maintenance. 4-21
