MALFUNCTION

Step 2. Check for water or dirt in fuel filter bowl.
WARNING
Allow engine to cool before draining fuel.
Perform maintenance outdoors or in a well-ventilated
area to avoid illness caused by inhalation of fuel fumes.
Severe burns, illness, or death can result from improper
handling of gasoline.
Do not inhale vapors.
Do not work near open flame, sparks, or excessive heat.
Turn shutoff valve in to OFF. Drain contents of fuel line into drain pan. Use 1/2 inch and 9/16 inch wrenches to
remove fuel line from fitting on engine fuel pump. After draining, attach fuel line to fitting on engine fuel pump.
Fill fuel tank with fresh fuel. Turn shutoff valve out to ON.
