WINTERIZE MUD CLEANING SYSTEM (MCS) - Continued
WARNING
Do not open or disconnect hydraulic hoses or fittings while the hydraulic oil is hot or under
pressure. Hydraulic oil is flammable and harmful to the skin and eyes. The hydraulic tanks
and metal parts can be hot. Wear work gloves and eye protection when handling hydraulic
hoses, motors, and hydraulic parts. If hydraulic oil contacts skin, wash the affected area
immediately. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. Dispose of hydraulic
oil in accordance with standard operating procedures. Failure to comply may result in injury
or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Disconnect hydraulic hose (Figure 18, Item 5) from sand guzzler (Figure 18, Item 2).
12.
With aid of an assistant, remove sand guzzler (Figure 18, Item 2) from mud pan (Figure 18, Item 1).
WARNING
Always use three personnel when handling the mud pan. Failure to comply may result in
injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
13.
With aid of two assistants, remove mud pan (Figure 18, Item 1) from rear of drilling rig.
14.
Clean mud pan (Figure 18, Item 1) with clean water and drain water from mud pan (Figure 18, Item 1).
15.
Open valve (Figure 19, Item 4) halfway at bottom of mix hopper (Figure 19, Item 3).
