Open left-side access door (Figure 1, Item 2).

Clean area around radiator fill cap (Figure 2, Item 1) with cleaning cloth.

WARNING
Do not remove filler cap from a HOT engine radiator. Sudden release of hot engine coolant
and steam can cause serious burns and a loss of coolant. Make sure engine is cool and
engine cooling system is fully depressurized before removing radiator filler cap. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
4.
Remove radiator fill cap (Figure 2, Item 1) from filler neck (Figure 2, Item 2).
5.
Fill with coolant to the bottom of the filler neck (Figure 2, Item 2).
6.
Install radiator fill cap (Figure 2, Item 1) on filler neck (Figure 2, Item 2).
7.
Clean area of any spilled coolant around radiator fill cap (Figure 2, Item 1) and filler neck (Figure 1, Item 2).
8.
Clean area around coolant overflow reservoir cap (Figure 2, Item 3) with cleaning cloth.
9.
Remove coolant overflow reservoir cap (Figure 2, Item 3) from coolant overflow reservoir (Figure 1, Item 4).
