COMPRESSOR OIL SERVICING - WWDR - Continued
WARNING
The Water Well Drilling System presents numerous falling hazards. Use care when
working on top of equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

Clean area around compressor oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3) with cleaning cloth.
4.
Open vent/valve (Figure 1, Item 1) and vent pressure from hydraulic oil tank (Figure 1, Item 4).
WARNING
Do not allow hot oil or components to touch your skin. Hot oil or components will
burn your skin. Wear heat-resistant gloves, goggles, and protective clothing when
you work near hot oil or components. If hot oil gets on your skin, seek medical aid
immediately. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek
medical attention in the event of an injury.
Do not remove compressor oil fill cap with compressor running. Failure to comply
may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
5.
Using appropriate tool, remove compressor oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3) from hydraulic oil tank
(Figure 1, Item 4).
6.
Add compressor oil to the bottom of filler neck on hydraulic oil tank (Figure 1, Item 4).
CAUTION
Do not overfill compressor lubricating oil system. Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
7.
Check to see that compressor oil level is within OIL LEVEL OK area as seen through sight glass
(Figure 1, Item 2).
8.
Install compressor oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3) on hydraulic oil tank (Figure 1, Item 4).
9.
Clean any spilled compressor oil from around compressor oil fill cap (Figure 3, Item 3) area with cleaning
cloth.
10.
With aid of an assistant, close left-side catwalk (Volume 1, WP 0029).
