ENGINE EXHAUST EXCESSIVELY WHITE OR BLACK - GROUTER
SYMPTOM
Engine exhaust excessive and white or black in color.
MALFUNCTION
Air filter dirty or restricted.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
WARNING
Do not direct compressed air towards yourself or others. Wear goggles or safety
glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing when working around
compressed air systems or equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury or
death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
CAUTION
Use low air pressure when cleaning air filter(s) and/or radiator(s). When using
water, use low pressure to clean radiator. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
Verify air filter (Figure 1) is clean and free of restriction (WP 0211).
