If engine performance is poor when load is applied, ensure that load is not excessive and
that only mandatory accessories are running simultaneously so an overload condition
does not arise.

Ensure engine RPM meets operational demands.
c.
If engine performance is consistently poor, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Long idle
periods.

NOTE
Engine should not be run at idle for extended periods of time. Unburned fuel,
often called wet stacking, may occur.
Verify if engine has been run at idle for an extended period of time.
a.
If engine has ran at high idle for an extended period of time, run at moderate to high idle
for 15 to 20 minutes. Verify engine performance has been restored (Volume 1, WP 0012).
b.
If engine has not run at idle for an extended period of time, notify maintenance.
