5. Remove cylinder head cover
a. Loosen and remove cylinder head cover mounting bolts (figure 4, item 1) (quantity 9).
b. Remove cylinder head cover (figure 4, item 2).
c.
Remove cylinder head cover gasket (figure 4, item 3). If gasket remains on seating surface,
gently remove with a non-metallic tool.
d. Wipe off mating surfaces of cylinder head and cylinder head cover with a lint free cloth.
