5. Brake Drums
WARNING
The tire is heavy. To prevent injuries, two people are required to remove it
and replace it from and onto the trailer.
a. Remove chocks (figure 22, item 1) from equipment tray and put in place on a tire. (figure 22,
item 2).

The brakes need to be released on the side being serviced.
b. To release the brake, place parking brake handle (figure 23, item 1) in the vertical
position.
