INSTALL
(1) Coat piston, rings, and cylinder lightly with oil.
(2) Install piston ring gaps (1, Figure 6-13) around piston at 10,2, and 4 o’clock positions (Figure 6-13) using
wrist pin (2) as 12 o’clock.
(3) Install ring compressor over piston. Slide cylinder down piston
(4) Remove ring compressor.
(5) Slide cylinder down until completely flush with crankcase.
until piston rings are inside cylinder.
