Hold recoil starting handle (2) firmly and pull out the handle briskly. Engine will start and go to maxi-
mum operating speed.
NOTE
If engine does not start on first pull, repeat steps (4), (5), and (6).
After 1 to 3 minutes, the centrifugal pump will start pumping water/fuel.

Do not allow the handle grip to snap back against the
engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
