Procedure
a.
Check oil level.
If Engine
oil level is on or below the
lower mark, add oil.
b. Visually inspect unit for oil
leaks.
Inspect for damage and secure
mounting of controls and
instruments.
Check that valve turns.
Check
for leaks around attachment
points.
Service fuel tank
(paragraph 3.7). Notify unit
level maintenance of any leaks
or problems.
Check for proper inflation; be
sure tires are not excessively
worn. Check that both tires are
worn evenly.
Check for damaged wheels. Check
that lug nuts on wheels are
securely tightened. Check that
bearing caps are properly seated
and tight.
Visually inspect for broken
welds, torsion spring, bent or
otherwise damaged axle.
Inspect for broken welds,
reflectors, damaged landing leg
assemblies and damaged towbar.
