WARNING
Severe burns, illness, or death may result if personnel fail to handle diesel fuel properly. Observe
the following precautions:
· Do not inhale vapor.
· Do not refuel near open flame, sparks, or
excessive heat.
· Be certain fuel lines and connections are
secure.
· Do not overfill fuel tank.
· Work in a well-ventilated area.
Step 1. Check for insufficient fuel supply.
Refill low tank. If empty, notify organizational maintenance.
Step 2. Check air cleaner intake restriction indicator on control panel for indication of restrictions or excessive dirt in
air filter.
If indicator shows red with engine shut off, and rain cap is not blocked and no damage to system components is
found, replace primary and secondary elements as described in paragraph 2.8.f.
Step 3. Check for tripped fault sensitive
control on control panel.
If tripped, notify organizational
maintenance.
