way. Replace main bearing bracket and main
bearing supports as necessary to maintain correct
bore clearances and radial clearances with crank-
shaft. Replace with normal or oversized bore
main bearing supports as required.
50. Stop ring
Do not attempt repairs. Replace if worn, cracked,
warped, rusted, corroded, or damaged. Replace
with normal or oversized thickness stop ring as
required.
